I'm Christine Staricka, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with 25 years of experience and a deep commitment to evidence-based, ethically grounded lactation care.

My career has taken me from the hospital bedside to the community outpatient setting, from training new clinicians to writing and speaking on some of the most important issues facing lactation practice today. I'm the founder of Evolve Lactation and Evolve Lactation Media, creator of The First 100 Hours® framework, and the author of Evolving the Modern Breastfeeding Experience: Holistic Lactation Care in the First 100 Hours. I serve as Director of Baby Café Bakersfield and have completed six years of service on the Board of the United States Lactation Consultant Association (USLCA).

What drives me hasn't changed in two decades: I believe families deserve lactation support that prioritizes physiology over products, and that lactation professionals deserve education and community that helps them do their best work — free from the conflicts of interest that are far too common in our field.
